    Can I use a processor for this .my aunt from wexford used an egg ,and butter always adds to any cooking . One of the best apple pie I have tried was from a small back street cafes I had to ask what was different the lady said I used shortbread for the base ,shortcrust for the top is this difficult

    I needed something more chocolatey, so I removed 1/4 flour and added 1/4 cup cocoa powder; had to make this ahead, so my dough was coldish. I used a #50 scoop which is a TB, and smashed it down to a little over 1/4", baked for 10 mins. Excellent!

    My husband is diabetic. So I made my own condensed milk using cream and allulose instead of sugar. It works fantastic with this recipe. Now he can gave his favorite sweet treat and it doesn’t affect his blood sugar. 😃❤️

    Could you save the bean-pod-waste you discarded and use it in … say … a candle, 🕯️ or Potpourri… homemade lotions etc? Or to use in a recipe in another way? Like adding to oatmeal or the like? Just curious. My knee-jerk reaction is to save everything and use it all. Comes from the “waste-not, want-not” era. 😂

    Hi Gemma,i wonder why everytime when i bake this cake,it always cracked on the surface..whats wrong with it pls? And also when i beat the eggs,oil vanilla extract n sugar for 5 mins,it wont be thickened but still watery instead,why Gemma? Thank you anyway..

    Hmm you say papaya and pineaple are full of enzymes. Maybe boilig pineaple and papaya for few minutes can help kill enzymes,then just let them cool of and try making jellies again.
